Innovative Parking

The project Innovative Parking demonstrates and evaluates new solutions for parking and mobility. The aim is to create more attractive residential environments as well as urban environments, while lowering both housing construction and living costs. The project also aims to deliver new solutions that can spur the construction of housing in Stockholm.

The project includes, among other things, to compile agreements for new mobility services such as car sharing services, cargo bike sharing, and the management of on-street parking for new housing development projects where car parking facilities are not feasible or where the costs for new parking spaces exceed the demand. The project applies the principle of Adaptive Parking Requirements.
